I wouldn’t call this restaurant “typical” like another reviewer. Sounds like they’ve never had Midwest Mexican food and are spoiled by the delicious variety we have in Arizona. This place is worth the stop. We chose this over having drive through in a bag or another cheeseburger from an “American food restaurant “ on our way back to Tucson. The menu is extensive. Even the kids menu has huge variety for little picky eaters. Right away we had a hard time ordering just one thing. The plates are huge so sharing is great but do it family style, fill up the table, and try all the things! Leftovers are always great. We ended up choosing Barria tacos and a carnitas burrito. The atmosphere was pleasant because it was cozy inside. I loved the decor from murals to a veranda style table that made you feel like you were at family gatherings on the patio. I watched the staff and they all seemed polished and happy. Bathroom was clean and well stocked. They were always busy sweeping or clearing up a table. When the food came out, quickly, we devoured our birria tacos and carnitas burritos, sharing bites across the table and enjoying the futbol game We go up north a lot and will take the time to stop in and try something new
Catered for a large group at a local school with these guys and they were amazing! Food was fresh, hot, and ready on time for us to pick up! We love going to eat here with our family too!

Well we just moved here and the fear was we would not find anything that we could compare from So. California. But, we were wrong the food is delicious and the way the food is prepared I thought I was in my grandmother's kitchen. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very festive. Let's say my wife is very happy dining here
Absolutely fantastic! Staff is friendly and helpful. We were seated quickly in a comfortable high back booth that offered a nice quiet dining experience. Place is very clean and the food is fresh and authentic! Best Mexican food in the White Mountains!
Best Mexican sit-down restaurant in Showlow! There are so many great options and it's always fresh and delicious! We live close, so it's a big bonus to have it in our neighborhood.
The best Mexican food we've ever had... we ate there 3 days in a row, it was that good and the prices were very good. We tried to go to other places but the seats were limited. Ant wait to go back next year. The octopus tacos were super soft.
The food & atmosphere were awesome! The service could have been a bit better as it took a while for the food to come out, but when it did, it was delish!
